Why STEM for kids?

A child’s natural curiosity is boundless. They observe the world around them, asking questions like “Why is the sky blue?”, “how do plants grow?” and “What makes my toys move?”. They yearn to solve problems and want to understand the process, yet often lack the tools and knowledge to do so.

At Mito&Co, we aim to provide at-home educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for your child to explore their innate curiosity.

Integrating technology and engineering into traditional science education allows children to explore, create, and wonder about the world around them. This hands-on approach not only equips them with practical skills but also fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and a growth mindset. In return, they gain the confidence and problem-solving abilities necessary for their future success.

SPARKING CURIOSITY FROM A YOUNG AGE

Introducing children to STEM at an early age can spark a lifelong passion for learning and discovery. I began exploring basic science experiments with my son at just 18 months old, and his curiosity and enthusiasm were the driving forces behind creating our Intro Summer Box. Our science boxes are designed to engage young minds with simple, fun, and educational experiments that lay the foundation for future STEM learning.

Toddlers can do science too!
